Le Rêve
Hands on the clock tick backwards
Over numbers that twist and turn
Papers words float away
To ashes, they fall and burn
Blackened days freeze the air
As rain dries up the ground
Flowers whither in their beauty
Screaming fear without a sound
Mirrors revel who we never were
Like carbon copied dolls alive
Flawless, cracking, perfect smiles
In euphoric death we thrive
All we see was never there
Plastic memories we steal
Borrowed thoughts we never voice
Leave our dreams as all that’s real
