I Stand Alone

I stand alone,
wandering in this road of darkness
thinking about the people i´ve met
swiftly dancing in this diamond rain.

My heart,
growing in fear, beating even harder
i´m nervous, shivering with cold
no one else, no wonder i´m alone.

How did i end here?
i was so kind, i was loved
i was someone, people always around
until she came, she found me.

That warm, lovely, sunny day,
my day, i wasn´t expecting her
she came so calm, so kind, so friendly
how could i´ve known?

I didn`t recognize her at first,
but then, while she was approaching
i could see her, i knew her.
her white, cold, expresionless face.

Deep black eyes
staring at me, she smiled
i found myself paralyzed in fear,
"you can´t run away now" - she said.

Her voice filled with evil laughter,
i almost collapse by the sound of it.
I shook my head
trying to deny my fear.

I just couldn´t believe my luck
i desperately tried to run,
"I´m only seventeen!"- I said in fright
"I´m a lot older"- she carelessly replied.

...

I passed out.
woke up, breathing heavily
no light, just pure black darkness.
"Where have you taken me?!"- I cried in desperation.

There was no answer...
"Where am I?!"- I was screaming now.
I heard her, giggles coming from afar.
It felt just like a knife cutting my spine.

The pressure
on my head, my arms, my knees
it was about to rip my skull in half,
then she took me by the hand.

Step by step, through darkness
my bones cracking, straight to it
facing the doom i was about to reach
the crying, the shivering....all of it is gone now.

I feel nothing,
I see nothing,
I can`t cry, nor I can smile
In conclusion: dead did me part.
