How Do You Know

How do you know when the pain is over?
When your heart has healed?
How do you know when you have truly moved on?
When you will no longer wake up, their name on your mind?
How do you know when your ready to love again?
When you can handle putting your hear out there?
How do you know when your tears will stop falling?
When you're too numb to care?
How do you know if anyone even thinks of you?
When you call them up, and they listen to your words?
How do you know you no longer have to pretend?
When you're so good at it, it becomes who you are?
How do you know when it stops?
It won't, it never will, not until you die.
