Hiding in the glass

There she stands facing back at me through the mirror
the twin and the other half
i never let her out i never let them see the true girl that is the real me
but now it all comes out it all unravels
that shy little girl for you to feast your eyes on
standing in the corner trying to hide
wants to esacpe from your looking eyes
weaken her down make her frown like shes dirt
shes scared to come out and when she finally does
you abuse her heart
i hope your happy i hope you feel very clever
that problem child wont live forever
she has her issues we all do too
but that girl in the mirror who hides from you
she holds up a figure of laughter and care free
a confident person you all shall see
ut that fragile girl in the mirror is the real me

I like the idea a lot, because i can totally relate. Structurally, it threw me off a little bit when the first half had no rhyme scheme and the second half did. But I like the rest!
