Hello Mirror

hello Mirror
you look nice today
not as pretty as the other girl's mirrors
but you still look okay.

am i straining you Mirror?
with all my concern?
does your frame hold the medicine
for all that is hurt?

Mirror, can you tell me
just who it is that you see?
can you tell me more than how her hair looks?
like... is she really happy?

Or is the girl that i see
the one you reflect?
the confused, frowning teenager
with no self respect...

Oh Mirror stop your telling!
the secrets she keeps
the gravity that tugs at her mouth
and dew on her cheeks.

Well Mirror, au revoir
i'm done with this little chat
why don't next time you show me
someone actually worth looking at.

Heavy stuff! A new edge on Snow White's wicked step-mother! : ) But the end was so sad! : (
