Edgar Allan Poe Haunts Me

"Great man, divine soul, one of us...who can it be?"

We weep in an unholy pillow
O breathe not, was once thought
By a strange soul
Extinguished by th sun
Alcoholic, celestial angel
Who dwelt alone, in a world of moan
In our most lush valley
Surrounded by mountainous snow
Help me drown out the sound
So I can go back to renown
For I dream I no not how
And it terrifies me
