Drowning in my fears

Here’s a salty river
Of my fallen tears
Where I forever drown
In my pressing fears

I cannot find the exit
I do not have the key
I will live here forever
Deep inside of me

Try and break these walls
And these chains that bind
But you will not succeed
For nothing you will find

I am already lost
Deep inside my head
There’s no way you can save me
I would be better dead

So here is my last
Little words to you
You will never find me
So please stop trying too

I'm in the same place you are, lost inside. It's a good defense. Be proud of who you are, and if nobody else notices, at least you have yourself to be proud of.

Heh! Good luck with that! Been there done that, it's a waist of time! But you will figure that out yourself one day.
Nice poem by the way.
