Colors of Pain

Lace my life in pitch black
For I fade into this shadowed friend
Watch us dance across the tips of pain
As it leads me to my end

Lace my life in deep blue
With one breath I fall into its embrace
Caressing my body with a crystal chill
Beckoning me towards a final liquid grace

Lace my life in hot white
Staining the solitude of my pain
Blinding, burning, fucking killing me
Feeding on memories cried in vain

Lace my life in crimson red
My liquid breath I bade farewell
Bringer of my sole serenity
Slowly stealing me from this hell

Lace my life in pure silver
As I touch upon a tantalizing numb
Cleansing me of iron hatred
Playing across my wrist as I succumb

Shaded as hopeless, alone, letting go
Shaded as afraid of what I already know
Painted with pain I let myself fall
Erase my life of colorful hurt

Move on and watch me stall
