Coalesce
…Black
Love is tenuous in that timely fashion,
No amount of time can cut away what’s true
(so simple, babe, so simple)
Black- he hit me hard-
Now blue
(so simple-)
Just a little girl
Black, and nothing I could do
…White
Fault tattoos the blood of a heart in doubt,
And colors crimson a naïve Regret’s veins
(let go, babe, time to let go)
White- so innocent-
With stains
(babe, let go-)
My fault, my fault
White, dirtied by countless shames
…Gray
A coalescence of black and white occurs
Lost in that fucking limbo of gray’s shades
(be strong, babe, just hold on)
Gray- tied up in lies-
It jades
(just hold on-)
Scared, so lost
Gray, I break as every truth fades
