"Temporary Fixes." 11/11/07

I snap the band,
the skin swells up.
It's only temporary,
that i will stop.

Red ink lines,
lay across my skin.
But it won't work,
i will do it again.

Across my wrist,
the ice starts to bite.
A temporary fix,
a preview for tonight.

The color of blood,
lays across my nails.
But once again,
the cures do fail.

This time i bleed,
from deep in my vein.
Dark red in color,
this is real pain.
