Your Lonely rainfall
I’m the one to
Walk in on your tears,
The lonely rainfall
Of summer’s love lost.
The river’s you wish,
To let flow alone.
Uninterrupted,
Unburdened,
And cold.
I won’t let you cry,
On your own soggy shoulder,
Even if mine are
Underneath the surface.
Your tears are hidden mirrors,
Reflecting your true soul..
I see into them,
And see your true soul.
I won’t let you
Be alone.
Cry all you need,
Just don’t hide your tears,
Please dear heart,
Come running to me.
My arms are open,
I’ll help you be free.
