What Once Was

Why can't anyone see that he's hurting
I worry so much about him
He just doesn't understand
He has me out on a limb
She doesn't care that he's hurting
She doesn't care that he loves her
He just wants her back
He dwells on what they once were
She gone now and he needs to let go
He needs to see that she's not coming back
What once was is not gonna be again
She needs to stop being something he lacks
