What I'll never have

I tried to convince the others
Just to convince myself
I couldn't forget you
You're still on my shelf

My mind is cloudy
This fog keeps me blind
I wish I had someone like you
All gentle and kind

The moment ruined it all
But only the truth was spoken
This wound made me crawl
My heart's still broken

Wanting to forget
While wanting to make it real
Love is what I'll never get
And it's carved on steel

I lived my life
I loved someone
Should I grab this knife
And end this run?

Looking aroud
Everyone's having fun
I can't hear a sound
I can't see the sun

The world is pale
The colors are fading away
My soul is for sale
I'll love someday

No, don't end your life. Even I feel the same way and I'm thinking the same things. But you'll love again - you will. Grea job... that poem was truly heartfelt.
