Untill Its Gone

I got some news today.
You don’t know what you got until it is gone.
No longer the present
Nor the future
Just the past
A little bit longer and I will be just fine.
The world is so dark and lonely
You would know this feeling
How can I smile?
How could I be happy?
How can I laugh?
Now I know what I had because now you’re gone.
My world is crushed.
The doctor said you wouldn’t make it.
I thought the Vitim wouldn’t spread I thought it all would
be just fine.
You don’t even understand.
All this time is fading by.
I’m waiting on something to heal you.
I remember when I would go in and check on you every
day for a entire year.
I remember the last day I went to see you, it was such a long
time ago but it seem as if it were just the other day.
You smiled at me and told me that your time has come.
All the highs and lows are gone.
I’ll be fine soon.
Remember you made my last few days so happy
for me.
I will see you in heaven latter on.
I will wait on you as long as you always keep
me with in your heart.
You close your eyes after your last words
drifted through the air.
I love you girl.
You don’t even know what it feels like to
no what you have until after it is gone out of your life
for good.
So low So down
You don’t know.
You would never understand.
Now you’re just a part of my past.
Not the present
Nor the future.
