The foot steps fade i remember
the night you walked away
the saddest night of my whole life
ever since then life has been nothing but a fight
i fight to get up yet they say i wont cry
they don’t know the whole story that lays behind these eyes
So my friend what i’m trying to say
fake it if all else fails there’s
nothing else left to say
its just that i miss you so and i remember so clearly the night you walked away
and these green eyes still cry
and this broke heart still lays in peaces in the place you said you loved me
