Torn and Broken

she's always been right there.
He never could open his eye's and see.
That him and her, her and him
Is how it's supposed to be.

He's got a girl now
But he's trying to say
How he feels about this girl
And his friend in a differnet way.

They've always been together
Secretly at heart
And the new girl is now there
Slowly tearing then apart.

Now she keeps her distance
And watches as he changes and grows
He's not the same person he used to be
Not the one she loves, and not the one she knows.

He's changed for the worse
In her eye's are forming tears
Thinking back on how he used to be,
How he used to be in younger years.

The thought of him as he used to be
Brings tears to her eye's she can hardly speak.
So many wards were left unspoken,
And now their friendship lies torn and broken.
