Tired of it all

Broken Promises
Broken Dreams
Broken Hearts
That need mending
Waking up
Same old thing
Hearing screams
So much fighting
It just has stopped
For a short time
Some peace and quiet
For once in my life
Stepping up
Falling Down
When will I stand on my two feet
Fufill the dreams I always dream
Can time pass by me like a flash of light
Only bringing many fights
Many dark cold nights
And wisk right past me as fast as it goes
Leaving me behind
Fast forward this point in time
Release the stresses of yesterdays
and rid the sorrows that may come today
Before they happen
I must say
I want a better brighter day
Although life's giving me this break
I cannot help but make mistakes
and wonder if they'll come again
Will the pain show up again
and bring upon the many sins
That try and try to suck me in
and tug and pull upon my sleeves
I yank them off and keep fighting
I won't give in to all this saddness and all these tears
That come from out there
I have to let the happiness from within
Go out there and show the world
I have the strength to carry on I'll never give up
I'll never give in!!
