Three Words Left Unsaid

there were only three words on her mind
walking when the stars are easy to find
she traced the feelings on her lips
remembering that eternal kiss
the wind was blowing across her cheeks
the mooon only took small peaks
from the clouds the red sky began
telling her story all over again
they had met months before
and they believe their love could endure
the problems were too many
but their hearts were like a lucky penny
he promised to love her
and she agreeed
not knowing one day he'd leave
now the autumn leaves fall
and each tree grows tall
over and over in her head she swears
how could he leave, why would he dare?
tears touch the ground with a drip
and with that her quivering lip
the first rainfall to start the storm
and now she will start to moarn
her heart was shred and tore
and she knows now nothings like it was before.
