Thoughts

Ever felt so sad,
That you can’t even cry.
Like it can’t escape from inside,
Spreading till it gets to every inch of happiness,
Every reason to live,
Darkened…
No strength to even speak,
To even cry
Till your left with only your thoughts,
Unable to escape them,
Just surrounded by them,
Listening and watching,
Even when you close your eyes,
They don’t go away.

Hurts to much,
Don’t really know how
I’ve lasted till now.
When I think of the time that has passed,
I can’t really tell whether
It was part of reality or another dream.
Cause it felt so real
So different…
And yet to you, it didn’t seem so.
You seemed to be able forget it so easily,
Move on quite effortlessly.
Forget us so quickly…

I saw you with her today,
Both so deeply in each other’s world,
You looked as thought nothing else around you existed.
You looked so close,
So lost in her eyes.
Your smile,
So happy and content with the world
And I stood
Finding myself watching
Completely forgotten…
