The October of Life

the heavens have stopped crying
the heavens have moved next door.
no longer here to mourn for us.
they simply have gone.
they have past us up.
the heavens have moved on.
we are now here alone
on this generic filled soulless planet
left with the memory of his word.
The Lord has spoke.
the angels have cried.
it is now time
time now for a long dead dry spring.

Intriguing way to describe the season of rebirth and rejuvination.
'time now for a long dead dry spring'.

The Lord has withered this place I live long ago! It's in an eternal drought! Ahhh...Las Vegas!!! Sin City! Great poem Robert, your poems always move me to do some deep soul searching, and that's a good thing! Thanks! I loved it.Smiley
