The List

The list so long
Progressively growing.
Your list of toys,
Pretty and faithful.
You reel them in
With your words so sweet.
Rate them one to ten
Like pretty pieces of meat.

Encasing them within
Your treacherous snare
Lips laced with venom
Lies flowing and smooth
You string them along
Captive from the moment
They bite the hooks in your eyes

You catch them,
And pull them in,
Hunting for the kill.
Determined and greedy,
You eat after you've had your fill.
You carelessy throw out
Everything your sick of,
Bored you throw a tantrum,
And take up your paper and pen.
Another name,
Another body,
Just another thrill.
To you her name doesn't matter,
Her heart is unecessary for you game.

Such pleasure you take
From stealing their breath
Then tossing them aside with such disconcern
And harsh words colder than death.
Yet they still seek you
And are eager to follow
They still do anything to please you
While it's their pride that they swollow
You lead them down
That dismal path so forlorn
You cut them up and leave them to rot
Then shoot them a glare full of scorn

Bleeding, torn
You leave them on the ground.
Lives so blessed,
You shamed and broke their heart.
What you caused you never saw,
Blind eyes let you see the word.
Well baby let me make it
Perfect crystal clear,
So you can see just what you do
With your little list right here.
Let me tell you about each girl,
And how they don't know their crime,
Or why they were thrown out to die,
With their heart so broken that night.
Pretty Lisa was so young,
Youthful and full of life.
But after being tossed away,
depprsssion took over her life.
Forgotten
Hurt and crying,
There she lies
Now in the ground.
Scars on her wrist tell her story,
Of being destroyed that night by you.
Mary thought she was lucky
To be one of your's so prized,
but after being left on that curb;
She had no clue why.
So go over to 1st Avenue
You'll see her on the street,
looking searching
For a love she hopes to keep.
But those thoughtless words you pspoke to her,
Make her feel worthless now,
So now she lies with evil men,
Thinking that's all she's good for now.

How does it feel
To have to bury your love?
To see their pain killing them
Yet more forcefully you shove
Blind to your crimes
You see yourself at no fault
But take a look into your heart
Let's open up that fault
Are you really so vacant,
So blamelessly pure?
So thoroughly you burn them
How are you so sure?
I see through your disguise
To yuor hands soaked red with their blood
I see your feet that have kicked them
And driven them into the mud
I've seen how you strip
The life from their eyes
And tear out their hearts
Wearing them as a prize
Can no one else see
The truth wrapped in your lies?
Don't act out your innocence
And don't pretend to be kind
Someday they'll see through you
And then maybe you'll find
The fruits of lustful living
Have grown more rotten everyday
And so you are too rotten
Until you turn from your horrid ways.

So here I am
To show you what you've done.
Evil ways of living
Sure can be fun,
But it's always candy-coated
Lying, there's a dark veil,
But here I am
To lift the deceitful shroud.
Here we warn you
So take heed
A change in your ways,
Is exactly what you need.
Change and renew,
Before it's too late,
For as it is known,
History is sure to repeat itself.
And also watch out,
For I'm sure, out there,
There's a girl,
Who's just like
You.
