The Illusion
Our love was but an illusion,
a cruel trick played by the Gods.
They have taken you away from me,
leaving my world cold and lifeless.
The fire has been estinguished,
the warmth replaced by the cold.
My heart has returned to being stone,
my love is fleeting for it follows you,
My body grows cold and lifeless,
and my spirit is fading away,
as the blood falls to the ice
