The End

I still question why “we” had to end
Why do I love someone who is only a “Friend”

I walked around sad for days on end
Not even a word spoken to my best friend

Today I decided to put this all behind
I can not let you continue to consume my mind

No more walking around with my head hung low
For I have to move on, this I know

This time it will be different I swear
I will find that special someone out there

He will love me and he will care
This one I will not have to share

I vow never to fall for another illusion
