Spinning

This will never be the same again
Not after I've felt your skin
Caught up in this, this way
I've followed the rain and aches
Cloud hanging over my head
Needles inject inside my bed

How did you get those scars?
I don't believe in your lies
Do you base belief off stars?
Who worries about the sky?

Everyone has a story of Juliet
Too bad no one ever met
Rosaline, terrified of Romeo's O.C.D.
Ran away to Salt Lake City...

You aren't worth the smile
Or the chance to make you laugh
I ain't gotta tell you shit
And so we haven't spoken in a while

oooh, nice
i like the references you made to other works.
the second stanza was my facourite, the third was the best written, and last made me smile, and ended it perfectly.

well done

Wow I love every stanza. Your metaphors are written in a beautiful way. The whole poem flows together very nicely.
