short storie..i guess

so this girl and guy start to talk. well the guy likes her alot and so does the girl. well on the other hand she also talks to another guy. she has known the second guy longer than the first and says to the first "i couldnt date you cause i would hurt him" the guy says "i understand"...the guy thinks that theres nothing left to do so he just stops talking to her...a day later the gurl and the other guy are dating. the first guy thinks wow i must have been nothing to her...2weeks pass and she looks sad...3 weeks later and she looks sadder. during this time the first guy has stood by and watched…he continues to watch but does nothing. Finally he doesn’t care anymore for her…she calls him late at night and says that her boyfriend was abusing her and she needed him to be with her…the guy thinks for a moment and says “I cant” she ask “why?” he says “u choose him” then hangs up the phone…so whos wrong here? The guy or the girl?
