she hurts
she hurts,
but she holds her head high,
she hurts,
but she can't let them see her cry.
she hurts,
but she knows to fight the familiar sting.
she hurts,
but she knows to hide her eyes when they begin to leak.
she hurts,
but she does not let him know.
she hurts,
but she holds on tight.
she hurts,
but nobody knows.
