Rosy Road

I've been walking down a muddy road,
The wind whispering secrets in my ears.
It tells of a hidden path,
A path with fewer fears.

She saw my face on a warm winters day,
Her hair was golden black.
She looked to me as if to say,
I'll ease your trouble sack.

I've finally found that path that's hidden,
A path with red and green.
It's a road that leads to nowhere,
or somewhere so unseen.

I grabbed her hand on a cold summers day,
I've got to keep walking down this rosy way,
Her hand was weak, my feet felt slack,
Now i'm stuck here, lying on my back.

I've been running down this Rosy Road,
Trying to catch her flight,
She looks to me, winks and smiles,
But I am too polite.

The roses have changed from red to yellow,
Yet the path remains the same,
Will I ever get my love?
Or have I just friendship to gain.

Rosy Road, i'm stuck on you forever.

It's awesome.
I love the line, "The road that leads to nowhere, or somewhere so unseen."
Amazing.
