Prayer for an angel

Father, that 'art in Heaven
I know it's been a while
I know I've cursed your name
I know I may not be worthy...

But please, please, I beg of you
Give me this
Please

You see the angel that you sent me
She's beyond words
She glows with your magnificence
And she's captured me
But here's the problem
Something got caught under her skin
Something burrowed it's way in
Something's tearing at her insides
And I can't bear to watch my angel fall

Please isn't there somthing you can do?
Can't you please make this go far far away?
I'll do anything, give you my soul, give you my life
So long as she's okay I'll give you anything you'd like

Please-
Tears choke me and to my knees I finally fall
Please dear God! Please!
I am your child, begging you to keep her safe
Keep her heart beating
Keep her with me

I--I don't know what I'd do if I lost her
I know I've forsaken you
I know you have better things to worry about
...
But please save her
Because I can't
