My Mountebank
This harrowing stratagem is growing old
And this aching pain-
will not subside
Let the truth unfold
you cannot hide
But I shall not wait
for you much longer
For of us two,
You are the stronger.
And for that-
I hate you.
And I hate the way you understand me
Even when the rest of the world does not
And I hate how you see through this façade
When my every desideratum has been left dead and shot
And I hate the way you are blind
To all the pain that you let on
And I hate the way you say how you feel
Afraid to act, you pretend you’re strong
And I hate the way you feel for me
And I hate the way you feel for her
And I wish I could not feel at all
Your lips, your hips, the guilt that isn’t there
And I hate how you tell me everything will be okay
Cause it won’t be
So while you’re hurting her
Just know- you’re killing me
