My Life Without You
My life without you is like
A clock without the time
A rich man without a penny
A poet without a rhyme
My life without you is like
The sun without a glow
A star without a twinkle
The wind without a blow
My life without you is like
A butterfly without wings
A lion without a roar
A humming bird without a song to sing
When you’re not around
My life seems desolate and odd
Something just isn’t quite right
Like an empty soul without God
But when you are around
Life is filled with laughter and smiles
Everything is beautiful and pleasant
Like a mother embracing her first child
