Midnight Sun
The light rises its time to enjoy
My head hits that pillow happiness destroyed
Hollowed feelings like fingers around my throat
Alone in an ocean in a sinking boat
Pendent of hope pierces through the grey
Making it possible to start another day
Climb over this mountain to tackle the one beyond
One day soon these feelings will be gone
The sword lunges through, sinking deep inside
Burden now gone no wound left behind
Midnight sun shines upon my face
Keep on running in the never ending race
Pull down the covers and think of what to do
Cast the memories into shadow, forget about who?
Life light still burn in the fog of confusion
God take away my disillusion
