Racing for love going around a track.
Or carrying a heavy load with fear on your back.

No turning back your feet stumble on doubts.
Failure fatigues you but love will bring you out.

She kisses your thoughts and makes love to your dreams.
You’re blinded by love but it isn’t what it seems.

Love always pleases the affectionate mind.
Looking for love is not easy never openly kind.

You finally ran the race, as you look into her face.
You see something different, a different tone in her grace.

You give her your heart and you can’t read her expression.
She throws it down, her character confession.

As you look down at your heart all torn and flat.
You think fall in love huh can’t believe I fell for that.
