Leaving

He's leaving for Iraq and I don't know what to do
He's made his choice, he just doesn't care
I wish I could stop him but I know I can't
He feels like he can no longer bare
I will be here for him until the end
Praying and hoping everyday that he is gone
I will never give up on him
Even if I think he is wrong
He just wants it to be over and I know how he feels
But I don't want him to go away
I want him to stay here where I know he's alive
Where I know he's okay
