into you like a train

i'm into you like a train
and you can't foresee the internal
damage.

like a venous bleed, you're
always there, but it's not enough
for this sucking chest wound.

gasping for air, they scream
in horror, so much
blood.

red reminders, we don't have
much time.

why don't you call 911?

breaths don't go in, start compressions
you've lost me by the time the sirens arrive.

ribs don't do you much good
when the heart's exposed.
