innocent guilt

after all we've been through I still love you
you didn't hurt me this time
you were guilty of a lot of things boy,
but not the charge that was placed on you
I told them you did nothing, they wouldn't listen

I love you. I know you hate me
that's understandable. but it's not my fault
I told them I didn't want you in trouble and you didn't do anything
you're my world! I'd rather die than live without you like i have to now
thinking you hate me.

everything I had was yours, my life would end if you asked, I'll never forgive myself for telling my friend
I didn't want this I'll never love again I can promise you that
and maybe one day, far away
