If only life was fair

It could have been so perfect
Its all I can think as I stare off into space
I wonder, is it even worth it
And then I see your face
Such beauty un-describable
My god its un-deniable
Im madly in love with you,
And there is nothing I can do
But wonder what its like to be with you.

Then tears fill my eyes,
As I begin to cry
It doesn’t matter what I do
I just cant get over you
I rub my eyes
‘till they show no tears
I cry out for you,
But my cry falls on deaf ears

Now I am afraid I must retire.
So I brush my teeth, and change my attire.
I lay my head down, and wish for sleep.
For only in dreams, do I not weep.

In dreams I see you,
and you see me
But this time its different
this time, you stay
You look into my eyes,
And take my breath away.

I know soon I will wake
I hope later than sooner
For my dreams are my hopes
