I wish I could look into your eyes and see the love that I have always longed would be there.
I wish I could kiss your lips that I have always knew were mine.
I wish I could hold you close and never let go, and pray you stay forever.
I wish I could settle your worries, with my replies and make you always feel better.
I wish I could hold your hand and lead the way in this life that is full of destruction.
I wish I could smooth your hair away from your eyes, so you could see the world clearer.
I wish I could seize your heart and keep it safe, from those who mean to distroy it.
I wish I could watch over you while you slept each night in hopes your dreams would be better.
I wish I could be the one to walk down the aile and say I do, so I could always make you happy.
I wish I could be seen to you as more than a friend, but in the end I know better.
