I wanna feel like my salad days!!!!

We seem to have metaphor everywhere!
Life is a metaphor,death also
How could art be spun from a reality?
already so charged with elemental symbolism..
Vision of hell we humans
have laboured so mightly
to constuct on the earth

When was the last time
I saw the sunset and it felt like
Gods perfect painting
colors collected from the sun and the rainbow
the sky ..being his soft sheet?!

When was the last time i saw a tree and i felt
it was saying...
"i am a model..
natures masterpiece displayed
see me strike a pose..."

when was the last time i saw a waterfall and it said
to me "i am a watery white snake,fallin down to meet
my mates.."

Take me back dear lord!
to the days where
i saw only white and innocence in things!
To the days when i had fun while learning!
TAKE ME BACK!!!
