how could you not
see the faith i had in you
how could you not
know the pain i never showed
how could you think
that i never wanted you around
how could you think
i was lost not wanting to be found.
you saved my life and gave me hope
how could you, how could you
draw a dagger across your
throat.
how could i hate you?
how could i not cry? when
you took the very thing i wanted all my life.
