Heartbreak

lost, hurt rhythme
fading from my heart.
broken memories tangled
wrapped around my thoughts
kept strong, kept tight
strangling life form the bones.
bloody veins drained dry,
no tears to break the pain
or satisfy mading anger.

my heart no longer beats
lost its soothing rhythme,
gone to creep
through the dark night.
