Haunt her

Far away
Safe in your lonely bed
You lay asleep
Dreams filling your head
No longer do I
Visit these night visions
No longer do I
Travel your thoughts
I am a mere shadow
A ghost
A shark in the shallows
That can smell the fear
I want to haunt you
Even if you don’t want me here
Go on with your life
Try to forget
The one that you loved
The one you owe debt
You cut me loose
Without a trace
Strung my noose
Memories erased
Forever has never seemed shorter
