You have just been playing games
Teasing me while I play along
We are just having fun
Joking and kidding all the while
Messing around, just laughing
Fooling around with each other
Going round in circles while we play
Loving every second till something
Goes wrong and we stop playing,
Hugging, joking, laughing, having fun
To hear the truth it burns and stings
It was like a stake through my heart
Hearing that it was done before
Hurting me to hear those things and more
Finding out it was just a game
I thought I was different but I’m the same
As the rest of the people
I should have known I wasn’t special
I did my best not to be like the rest
But as I was crying I realized
That I’m not good enough for him
I’m not good enough for anyone at all
