Forgive me

I was there that day
the day you lost it
the day you lost your sanity
I ask you for your forgivness
for I could not stop your pain
I could not mend your broken heart

My dear and such good friend
I feel so useless
For I could not save your life
I ask you for forgivness
For I have fallin to my knees
As you lay here in my arms
I feel so helpless
for I cannot stop the blood
I ask you for forgivness
I have let you die
It’s all my fault
I cry and cry for you my friend
I pick up the knife that took your life
that shed your blood
I slide it across my body to my heart
I whisper softly
Please forgive me
the knife went through my heart
And ended my life
