Emptiness

What can you do, what can you say
To make this pain I feel go away
A pain in your heart that won't subside
To know your father doesn't even know your alive
Confused feelings of someone you know doesn't care
And you can't help feeling that it's just not fair
Is my face like his, are his eyes the same deep brown
Does he think of me when no one else is around
The same questions in my mind day after day
Soon to realize questions they'll stay
