I'm going to stop waiting
for you to call.
I've got my dose of hurt today.
I don't need anymore.
I know how this goes.
You say how you like me
then you get a girlfriend.
Something happens
she breaks up with you
and I'm here to catch you when you fall.
I talk you through it
and make sure that you don't do anything stupid.
I love you.
Even if its only as a friend
I'll still love you.
I will be happy for you
whenever you get a new girlfriend.
And I'll be there when you fall.

Its because I love you.
Friends, family or something more
I still love you.
No matter what you choose
I'll be happy for you.
My dose of hurt
came from something
I'm pretty sure
you didn't mean.
You don't love me.
Even if you do get a girlfriend
I'd at least like to know
because I'll be there when you fall.
