do you know me
do you know who i am
stare deep into my soul
watching the hour through an hourglass' falling sand

if you take your time
you will find
someone who is willing to listen
not to control your mind

if you hold out your hand
and let me embrace
you'll be able to feel the warm kiss
on your soft, sweet face

who i really am
not someone just to let go of
