A hiding place
Somewhere safe and warm
Where you hold me in your arms
Holding me tight
Never letting go
You see the darkness and betrayal in my eyes and back away
You turn your back never to return
You leave me to cry in the dark, vulnerable and insecure
You broke my heart
When I gave it to you, you promised to protect it
All you did was destroy it
Don’t expect me to give you another life with me
You wasted your chance, I never again want your petty excuses
You’re cruel and pathetic
