Confusion

I’m at a point of confusion
To explain would be a chore
But im at a loss for words
I don’t know what to do anymore

She is my love, my life
She is my shining star
And she broke my heart
And tore me down so far

I asked my self the reasons
How could my love hurt me so?
I couldn’t find an answer
But I really had to know

Last night she told me why
And now everything has changed
Do I take her back or let her go?
My life will never be the same

She hurt me because she’s sick
But then she kept it from me
And what about the other girl?
I’m not sure what she sees

This would have been so black and white
But she tried so fast to move on
So now that truth begins to surface
Can I forgive her for what she’s done?

To let my love walk away
Is such a horrid thing
But to be able to forgive her
Would take quite a human being
