Broken Words

' your too far away,

we never get to see eachother anyways.'

your excuses go on for days.

you promised me love.

promised me your heart.

now you take them both away.

how my world goes from color to gray.

i thought you could be trusted.

but a promise seems to be nothing but a word to you.

you swore you loved me.

i swore i loved you too.

i guess i was the only one telling the truth.

these broken words will always tell me,

you never really cared.

i let you toy with my heart.

and i stumbled, tripped, and fell head over heels for you.

my heart is now just a hole.

and my cheeks are getting warmer and wetter.

my tears are sick of falling for you.

but i'm just not ready to be over you.
