Breakup Letter

You tell me that it's over, it was never meant to be.
But tell me one thing, why lead me on, make me believe?
I know you don't care, weather or not I'm alive,
but tell me again why this can't survive.

We had love so strong,
And yet it was wrong.
Knowing that we can't live with each other,
whats the point of seeing another?

I know you can't forget those days together,
Smiling, laughing in the good weather.
Pretending everything was alright,
making it seem okay with a simple “goodnight”.

But now I know better, not to believe,
for I knew that in the end your would leave.
It's cold here now, winter upon us,
knowing now you stepped upon my trust.

Smile, you think it makes it all better,
as you write your breakup letter.
Were you so afraid to say it to my face?
But I'll keep our memories, no matter the case.

So remember this,
our last goodbye kiss.
